The Basketball Tournament (TBT) returns to Wichita beginning Monday, July 20, bringing the defending champion AfterShocks back to Charles Koch Arena as they begin their quest to repeat as tournament champions. Games will also be played in Wichita on July 23 and July 24, if necessary.
Before opening tipoff on July 20, Wichita State will unveil a championship banner honoring the AfterShocks’ title, marking the first banner ceremony in TBT history.
The 2026 tournament features a new best-of-three first-round format and a $2 million winner-take-all prize, the largest purse in tournament history.
Plus, if the AfterShocks advance, Wichita could host the winner of the Kansas vs. Kansas State alumni matchup, creating one of the summer’s most anticipated basketball showdowns.
Tickets and additional tournament information are available at thetournament.com.
