VYPE recently spoke with Coffeyville athlete Kainen White.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal is to stay the top and win the state championship.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I have had in the last year is with my friends and family’s.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher from any grade is Shanutel Highly and the reason being is that she help me write a lot of college level essay while being in her class.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory would have to be winning 2nd at state for wrestling.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Brady White was the has left the biggest impression on me as he was a state champion my freshman year and I was his practice partner throughout his senior year.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
The atmosphere of being wrestler and the people around me who project it what makes it feel special.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
If I had any place to go it totally would have to be Japan. The Island and culture I would like to learn and it. I would like to bring my family with me.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
Definitely would spend it on fixing my phone screen and paying my dues.
VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
The only campus group I’m apart of currently is Indian Education.
