
In our recent poll, Coffeyville’s Aaron Tunstall was voted “Outstanding Running Back” winning out among his peers with 38,671 votes. After his victory, Tunstall completed an interview with VYPE to tell us more about who he is.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal goals for this year are to go to state for football and have good grades.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I have had in the last year is going to the state track meet with the track team.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher from any grade would have to be Mrs.Bagshaw from 4th grade because instead of sending me to the office for being bad she would just call my mom.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory is being runner-up at state in the 200.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
A teammate who has left the biggest impression on me would have to be my cousin Keshawn Hayes because it’s been nice playing sports with family.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part of being on the team is all the memories I’ll have when I’m done playing.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
If I could go anywhere I would go to Hawaii and take my family.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
I would spend the 500 dollars on shoes and clothes.
