The Frontenac Raiders enter the 2026 volleyball season with a strong group of returning players after putting together a 26-15-1 record and an 8-2 mark in district play last season.
Frontenac will look to build on that success under coach Cassie Rhuems, who has guided the Raiders in recent seasons. The team returns several players who gained valuable varsity experience during the 2025 campaign.
Back are second team all league selections Ellie Bloom and Hadley Goodwin.
Several of Frontenac’s returning players made significant contributions statistically last season. Bloom led the Raiders with 885 assists, while Goodwin finished with 82 total blocks.
The Raiders showed consistency throughout the 2025 season, finishing with a winning record at home, on the road and at neutral-site events. Frontenac also went 8-2 in district competition.
Frontenac enters the new season with a blend of veteran players and younger contributors. The returning core gives the Raiders continuity while the younger players provide additional depth and competition for playing time.
The Raiders’ returning players have already gained experience in high-pressure matches, including postseason competition, providing a foundation for the 2026 campaign. Frontenac’s combination of returning contributors and new players will shape the team’s pursuit of another successful season.
