
VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Pittsburg HS? What I love most about being an athlete at PHS so far is the good environment and energy of the team. My teammates are quick and love to push the ball.
VYPE: What grade are you in and what position do you play? I’m in 11th grade and I’m a point guard/wing.
VYPE: When did you start playing basketball? I started playing basketball competitively in sixth grade, but I have always loved to play the game.
VYPE: Who inspires you the most? The person who inspires me the most is my AAU basketball coach TeeJay Britton.
VYPE: Which teammate always impresses you the most or do you have a former teammate who left an impression on you? A teammate that always has impressed me is McKenzie English.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite college or professional team you like to keep up with? A college team I like to keep up with is the KU men’s basketball team.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate? After I graduate, I want to go into construction management, or architecture.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite place to play and what is the toughest gym to play in on the road? This is my first year at PHS, or even in Kansas so I don’t know about the competing towns yet, but I look forward to getting to know them.
VYPE: What part of your game is most improved coming into this season? My ball handling is what has most improved going into this season.
VYPE: Who is the greatest basketball player of all-time? The greatest basketball player of all time is LeBron James.
