Coffeyville’s Emma Hall – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Nutrition Hub

Coffeyville wrestler Emma Hall told VYPE in a recent interview “wrestling has taught me discipline” which has helped her accomplish many things including “when I pinned and beat a girl that was ranked above me in every way possible”. This season she hopes to “become a state champion or at least place in the top 3 at state”.

“My favorite part of being on the team is the bond and memories I have and will continue to make with these girls” said Hall. One of whom has left a significant impression on Hall. She shared “The teammate that has left the biggest impact on me is Delilah Wright because no matter how good or bad I do or whether she has a match coming up she has always been on the side cheering me on”.

Off-the-mat Hall has “participated in a youth camp we did for the younger kids that want to get involved in wrestling” and continued her involvement in “Jag-K because it has helped me get a bigger look at colleges and work environments”.

When discussing what motivates and inspires her she shared that one motto she lives by is the best advice she’s ever received recalling it to be “prove the people that don’t believe in you wrong”. Hall also shared that “Quincy Monday inspires me because he never gives up and always stays disciplined no matter what”.

She even took the time to “say thank you to everyone that has supported me and my wrestling career. Mainly my parents for taking a good majority of their time to take me all over the place so I can experience how other states wrestle and get hard matches in”.
